-メモリは１GB以上を確保します。
-ディスク容量も32GB以上確保します。
-VM Guestを作成する際、Default設定のまま作成すると以下のメッセージのところでインストールが停止してしまいます。

-VM Guestの設定画面[システム]-[マザーボード]-[拡張機能]で「IO APICを有効化」にチェックを入れると回避できました。

-OSインストール時に/tmp領域を1GB以上確保します。

***YUMセットアップ [#i0f3206c]
-Unbreakable Linux Network サポートなしの Oracle Linux インストールの場合は、Oracle Public yum サーバーと yum クライアントを使用して更新をインストールします。
--方法は[[http://public-yum.oracle.com/:http://public-yum.oracle.com/]]に記載されている通りです。
 # cd /etc/yum.repos.d
 # wget http://public-yum.oracle.com/public-yum-el5.repo
--Yum の構成ファイルを編集することによって、適切なリポジトリを有効にします。
>Yum の構成ファイルをテキスト エディターで開く
>更新するリポジトリのファイル内のセクションを見つけます
> [el5_ga_base],[ol5_u7_base],[el5_addons],[el5_oracle_addons]
>変更を有効に有効にするには 0 を = 1
>対象のOSバージョンを確認してリポジトリを登録します。
